Cook Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and resident-specific dietary needs.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and served at the appropriate temperature.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and adjust menus as needed.
- Monitor food inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and reduce food waste.
- Accommodate special dietary requests and restrictions, including allergies and texture modifications.
- Assist in the training and supervision of kitchen staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of meal preparation, food temperatures, and inventory.
Qualifications of a Cook :
- High school diploma
