Shift : Nights / 7p-7 : 30a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length : 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement "4 shifts out of 4-week schedule.Weekend shifts for nights are Fri / Sat & Sat Sun for daysHolidays Travelers are expected to work into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule (1 major holiday & 1 minor holiday)

Other Details :

• Ratios 1 to 4 tele patients; 1 to 5 MedSurg patients but could be assigned a mix of MS & tele could be 3 MS & 1 tele or 2 MS & 2 Tele, etc )
• Charge Nurse 24 / 7 They will have either a Nurse Shift Manager & a Resource nurse or they will have just a Charge Nurse
• Floating Travelers are the 1st to float
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients General MedSurg patients including bariatrics & all total joints. Must be comfortable with this.

CVA patients, a-fib, amiodarone, set rate cardizem, dopamine & dobutamine only for renal perfusion. No titration. Heparin & hyperglycemia protocol.

ETOH withdrawal per protocol (banana bag, etc... drug withdrawal, drug seekers, addicts...
