- Collaborate with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case management staff.- Utilize equipment such as walkers, IV pumps, and sequential compression devices (SCDs).
- Document patient information using the Meditech system.- Meet scheduling requirements, including 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule, and participate in the holiday rotation.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing, including care for patients with various respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, and tele monitoring.
- Familiarity with handling central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions.- Oncology and general surgery patient experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs.- Follow unit-specific guidelines and general hospital policies.- Engage with patient communication boards to enhance patient experiences, aiming to meet the hospital's patient experience requirements.
