Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Utilize automation technology to fill, package, and ship prescriptions. Package and prepare all orders as assigned. Ability to pack, pull, and bin pharmacy orders.
May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Help maintain inventory and receive and store incoming supplies.
Day-to-day tasks include receiving assignments for specific areas and helping with backlog. Initial training will be on basic automation such as QC / QA, single dose packaging, and using pre-packaged machines.
Further training will be provided in various areas including unit dosing and handling liquids / ointments. Full understanding of all pharmacy areas takes about 6 months.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in North Canton, Ohio.
Work Environment
Closed door pharmacy. 2nd shift : 2 : 00 pm close; Training : 8 : 00 am 4 : 30 pm (2 weeks); every other Saturday 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm ($3 shift differential).
2nd shift leaves when all orders from that day are completed to be sent out.
