Job Summary :
Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
Participate in an annual Tool Purchase Program
Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
Removes and replaces worn or broken parts
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager. Member of UAW local 2000
Required experience :
Experience working on large metal stamping presses (200-3000 ton)
Journeyman card preferred - $2.00 per hour additional for Journeyman
