Job summary
Ensure that all daily orders picked and packed are shipped to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure all packed orders are shipped to the correct destination based on carrier code, mode of transportation and destination
- Make sure to get all orders out the door at the end of day
- Identify any Non Conforming Product and submit to Supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior experience working in a shipping role
- Experience working with shipping computer systems
Required Qualifications :
- Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Able to operate pallet jack
- Attentive to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively within all departments in the company
- Able to read, understand, and write English
- Able to operate scanner
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Documentation skills
- Dependable / Reliable
- Work as a team w / Multiple Departments
- Customer Service oriented
- Able to prioritize
- Knowledge of products and warehouse processes
- Able to work independently with little supervision
All educational requirements may be satisfied by equivalent experience at the company's discretion)
Physical Requirements :
- This position regularly requires the ability to routine bending; crouching, lifting and carrying of product up to 50 lbs could be normal daily activities.
- The ability to identify product visually by product name in the English language and accurately identify quantities by physically counting or applying basic math skills.
- Routine use of general warehouse tools and equipment will be required and could involve the use of ladders, pallet jacks, inventory scanners, tape guns, brooms, etc.
