Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Faculty (Rank to Be Determined) Clinical - Department of Oncology at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties) :

Participate in the teaching programs of theDepartment of Oncology, the Karmanos Cancer Institute, the School of Medicine,and the University.

Conduct independent research in line with the goals of theDepartment of Oncology including maintaining a strong record of accomplishmentsand the ability to secure external funding that will provide salary support asPrincipal Investigator or Co- Principal Investigator and support researchefforts and projects.

Publish in peer-reviewed literature as first or co-author.

Participate in service assignments of importance to theprogram the Department of Oncology, Karmanos Cancer Institute, the School ofMedicine, and the University.

Unique duties : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

Doctoral degree required.

Post-graduate training required.

When applicable, board certification and abilityto obtain a Michigan medical license.

Evidence of scholarly productivity (, externalgrant support and scholarly publications)

Ability to provide quality instruction to avariety of students.

Faculty rank commensurate with credentials.
