Position Responsibilities :
The position will involve :
- teaching graduate courses in school or clinical psychology
- maintaining an active research program
- mentoring doctoral student research projects
- supervising practicum experiences
- participating in service to the program and University
Experience & Educational Background :
The ideal candidate should have a doctoral degree in school psychology (APA-accredited or NASP-approved) or combined school-clinical psychology (APA-accredited).
Candidates with degrees in clinical psychology (APA-accredited) will also be considered, particularly those with research and teaching qualifications in the area of school-based mental health.
Skills & Competencies :
Candidates will be prioritized who could teach courses in the areas of cognitive and psychoeducational assessment, school consultation and interventions, or developmental and adult psychopathology.
Applicants with graduate teaching experience and a strong record of research productivity and potential for external funding are sought.
The ideal candidate should be a licensed psychologist or license eligible in New York State.
