Construction Project Manager

Overview : The Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of assigned construction projects through the facilitation & planning of all construction activities and fulfillment of all project milestones and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full life cycle, inclusive of Pre-Construction, of multiple construction projects concurrently, ensuring they remain on schedule and on budget.
- Determine and control the critical path of all assigned projects.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding project timelines and budget.
- Establish performance / budget / safety goals for team.
- Regular review of projects to identify scheduling, staffing, budgeting or performance issues.
- Oversee jobsite administration of documentation, drawings and specs.
- Administer and maintain progress schedule, procurement log, budget and invoicing function.
- Consult with Estimating Department to ensure validity of bid and buy-out.
- Direct and supervise Assistant Project Manager (APM).
- Facilitate weekly meetings with Client and Architect to review progress and look ahead schedules.
- Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure job site safety and progress.
- Work proactively to review and correct all project submittals to maintain schedule.
- Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure project closeout within 45 days of completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Clients, Owner’s rep, Designers / Architects, sub-contractors and industry contacts (landlords, local business owners, etc.
to continually address issues and concerns.
- Generate project progress reports (budget / schedule) as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with : high end retail, luxury residential, commercial construction experience.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of General Contractor experience.
- Experience managing multiple high-end, fast track, projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Procore.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Advanced proficiency in MS Project.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to visit job sites as needed.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and / or move up to 20 pounds.

Base salary range : $120,000 - $150,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
