When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
Any RTO over the December Holiday season will not be considered.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years’ experience current required in na 15 plus bed intensive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and naccustomed to fast paced environment.
nMust have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTIFICATIONS : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS nmust be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and nSafety, or American Red Cross.
EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must npass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment.
Travelers that do not pass nthe BCA test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS : Varied Shift length 12 hours + call / holidays / weekends as needed . Float - able to take up to 6 patients Shifts m ay fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location ( including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, ICU, PCU & MS).
This includes PresNow ED / UCs Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION : Is the first week of the contract, not to exceed n40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS : Required and not provided by nthe facility.
