Sign Language Interpreter Position Overview :
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team of educators. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs.
Job Description :
- 2024-2025 school year.
- Full time - 30 hours / week.
- Provide sign language interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
- Support students during 1 : 1 and group interactions to enhance their participation and engagement in academic and social activities.
- Pay range : $28-38
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Sign Language Interpreting or related field.
- EIPA score of 3.5-4.5.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
