Job Title : Assembler

Job Description

Make sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Assemble a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in through-hole fashion utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
• Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
• Perform electrical function tests at printed circuit board and final assembly levels using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.
• Other duties as required (e.g., packing, etc.)

Hard Skills

• Ability to lift up to 26lb
• Minimum 4 months of production work
• Assembler experience is a plus

Work Environment

This is a very fast-paced work environment, and deadlines are crucial. Basic production work area with tight quarters. Eye protection and protective shoes must be worn. NO LOOSE CLOTHING.
