AW Health Care has all this and more and invites experienced, dedicated and compassionate CNAs and Caregivers to apply to our hourly positions for St Charles, Warren and Lincoln County Communities.

Immediate Need for these areas :

These are Day shifts between 6AM - 5PM)

  • O'Fallon- 2 Clients available
  • St Peters- 2 Clients available
  • Wentzville- 2 Clients available
  • Defiance- 2 Clients available
  • Troy- 2 Clients available

Job Summary :

The CNA or Caregiver provides personal hygiene care, housekeeping, meal prep, med reminders, laundry, bed linen changes, companionship to clients and maintain a safe environment for clients to live in.

CNAs / Caregivers must have a valid driver's license, your own reliable car and full coverage car insurance.

CNA / Caregiver Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance and be able to independently access client’s residence and perform client transportation and errands if requested.

Must have at least six months to one year paid work experience working with the geriatric population or similar care and responsibilities.

Working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred.

Ability to work with pets and smokers in client homes, preferred

Ability to use Gait belt and Hoyer Lift preferred

Must maintain required yearly training / education as mandated by agency

Physical Requirements :

Ability to participate in physical activity.

Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.

Moderate lifting.

Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
