• Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and / or evaluations.* Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies.
• Assist with daily triage / sick call, minor medical / surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and / or treatment.
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement.* Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical / vocational nursing staff.QualificationsQualifications for Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) : * Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in NV* Valid CPR card* Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred* Position may require he / she to stand or walk for long periods of time while performing dutiesWe know you may have questions before applying.
