About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist (PT) Job Specialty : Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without pay for canceled hours.
Additional cancellations will result in billed shifts. Experience : Minimum of 1 year required. First-timers accepted. License : Must have active Illinois state license or be in the application process with an estimated arrival date.
Certifications : BLS required. Must-Have : Required Assessment Skills / Experience : AROM / AAROM / PROM, attention, body mechanics, identifying environmental barriers, pain assessment, skin integrity, strength testing, vital signs.
- Required Documentation Skills / Experience : Assessment, discharge, evaluation, long-term goals, plan of care, reassessments, short-term goals, time management.
- Equipment and Device Skills / Experience : Gait belt.- Professional Skills and Knowledge : Home exercise program, patient and family education, signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, safety and injury prevention.
Job Description : Work in a critical access facility with a caseload involving various physical therapy assessments and treatments.
- Perform and document comprehensive assessments and evaluations for patients in an inpatient setting.- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to maximize patient mobility and independence.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety measures.- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Utilize charting system for documenting patient progress and discharge planning.- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
