As a Cashier at XTalk Prep, you will be the face of the company, ensuring that our customers receive friendly, prompt, and efficient service.
You will handle transactions, process payments, and provide top-notch customer service while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring transactions are balanced at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking products as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate them to the appropriate team member.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills & Abilities :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
