Position : High School Special Education Teacher with Math Certification (Full-Time)
School Year : 2024-2025
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Provide direct instruction in math, utilizing strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Must have a TOSD (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) or TOH (Teacher of the Handicapped) Certification.
- Math Certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
