About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Department Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12 Hr, 1500-0330 Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : No minimum years of experience listed License : Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have : - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Job Description : Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
- Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.
- Formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.- Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Note : A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
