LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a qualified Japanese Document Review Attorney to join our dynamic team working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities :
- Translate documents from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese
- Review and analyze legal documents for relevance, privilege, and confidentiality
- Ensure accurate and timely identification of key information within documents
- Collaborate with legal teams to provide comprehensive support for ongoing cases
- Utilize legal databases and technology for efficient document review
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Provide feedback and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Ability to commit to full-time hours during the duration of the project and the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- J.D. from an accredited law school required
- Barred anywhere in the United States and in good standing with the State Bar Association that you are licensed with
- Prior Japanese document review experience is highly preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (read, write, speak)
- Familiarity with e-discovery tools and legal databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
