We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team!
Responsibilities :
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Assist with compounding medications as needed; experience in compounding is a big plus.
- Accurately measure, count, and label prescriptions.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical products.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as processing and managing prescription refills.
- Oversee and coordinate the shipping and delivery of medications to patients, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delivery or logistics.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compounding experience is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with PioneerRx pharmacy software and technology.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medication management, and logistics.
