As a Workday Adv Comp Application Management Services (AMS) Functional Service Lead , your primary responsibilities may include :
- Manage on and off-shore functional teams.
- Lead the Advanced Comp AMS engagement driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to Workday functionality.
- Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client / functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot production break-fixes from triage through resolution.
- Implement enhancements and new features from discovery through deployment.
- Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance of project staff.
- Serve as a single point of contact for the client and provide direction to resources to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
- Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices.
- Demonstrate design options using prototyping.
- Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.
- Provide the client with status updates and keep them apprised of overall project status.
- Maintain responsibility for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements.
- Assist as needed in the sales process including scoping projects and estimating efforts to complete the implementation.
- Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies and execute optimization projects.
- Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need :
- Workday Partner Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Lead or similar level role.
- Minimum of 2 years of Adv Comp / HCM Implementations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree must have equivalent minimum 6 year of work experience.
Bonus points if you have :
- 4 years of Talent / Performance, Comp, or Benefits Implementations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the HR function & processes.
- Experience in Education & Government implementations.
