Medical Office Associate I - Cocoa Outpatient Center

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Medical Office Associate provides front office support to the clinical operations team, and works with a diverse patient population to ensure accuracy of patient intake, registration, payments, and scheduling.

Duties include, answering and screening telephone calls, scheduling appointments, entering patient charges, payments along with third party billing information and other pertinent information.

The priorities of the MOA position are patient registration, customer service and ensuring patient flow is optimal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

High School Diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

• Prior experience working in a medical office preferred
• Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred
