Job Responsibilities - Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Developing and implementing data models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methods to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions. - Cleaning, preprocessing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Presenting findings to stakeholders using data visualization tools and techniques to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and improve data-driven decision-making. - Continuously improving data collection and analysis processes by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and techniques.
  • Documenting all processes, models, and activities to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing. - Providing data-driven recommendations and reports to executive leadership and department heads.
  • Ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations and best practices in data handling and analysis. - Mentoring junior data scientists and analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and developments in the field of data science. -Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Excellent track record providing exemplary customer service, especially in an academic setting. -Other duties as assigned Job Requirements - Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field preferred - 3+ years of industry experience in data science or a related role - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java - Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.

g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) - Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling - Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.

g., SQL, Pandas, NumPy) - Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) - Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.

g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) - Ability to clean, manage, and process large datasets - Experience with cloud computing services (e.

g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with version control systems (e.

g., Git) - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development processes - Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.
