Overview
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for general office duties not limited to, ordering supplies, filing, mail / postage.
Role would also be responsible for assisting DOF with issuing and maintaining records of PO’s, coding and posting invoices, maintaining statements, journaling receipts & deposits.
Duties involving the reception desk will also fall under the responsibilities, such as answering phone calls, directing and following up on inquiries.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00 - $21.50.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans
- Preparing meeting and training rooms
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
- Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Provide excellent customer service
- Scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 (two) years’ experience within a professional office setting
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good time management skills
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
