Rowan-Virtua SOM is seeking general psychiatrist to provide clinical care with patients at one or more of the outpatient clinical offices located in Southern New Jersey.

Responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents and leading an interdisciplinary team.

Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52 : 14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70).

Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.

Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
