Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will be a driving force in Athena’s pursuit of operational excellence through product innovation and iteration.

With a particular focus on enhancing current business operations, the Senior Product Manager will lead efforts to refine the user onboarding experience and introduce advanced product features such as a Matching algorithm.

The role demands a blend of technical acumen, user empathy, and a keen eye for business process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Product Strategy : Craft and implement a product roadmap that focuses on optimizing existing business operations, such as improving the onboarding funnel and developing new product features.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and business teams to drive product initiatives from conception to launch.
  • Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, user testing, launching, and iterating.
  • User Experience Focus : Collaborate with UX / UI teams to ensure product developments enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Utilize analytics, A / B testing, and user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize features that drive business impact.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the key product evangelist, communicating updates, gathering feedback, and securing buy-in across all levels of the organization.
  • Team Mentorship : Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the growth of the product management team.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in successfully improving business operations through product solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking : Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency : Solid understanding of the technical aspects of product development, including software development cycles and methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Leadership : Experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Adaptability : Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
