Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot with Flow, Pressure, Level, Temperature, and various other analytical instrumentation.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC and SCADA related Field equipment.
  • Coordinate with various site vendors to commission process equipment and startup SCADA systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer inquiries and issues
  • Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment functionality
  • Conduct equipment inspections and make recommendations for repairs or replacements
  • Collaborate with other team members to solve complex technical problems
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for working in industrial settings
  • Document and maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and installations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • 2-year technical degree or 5 years of relevant experience and an aptitude in the areas of Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Technology.
  • A basic level of Knowledge of PLC programming both hardware and software preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
  • Ability to terminate and test ethernet, fiber, and copper communication cables is a plus.
  • Experience building and wiring control panels.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to interface with clients.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Cannot have crippling fear of heights.
  • Ability to carry tools, equipment, materials up to 40lbs.
  • Must pass criminal background and drug test.
  • Residence resides in the greater Richmond metro and surrounding areas.
