Job Overview :

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process and managing the day-to-day operations of the Multimedia team by planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of the production processes.

The Production Manager will also be responsible for managing production risks and ensuring that production objectives are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed production plans and schedules for production shoots and live recordings
• Coordinate and lead production teams to deliver video products
• Manage production risks and issues by streamlining & enforcing production workflows created by senior management
• Track production progress and report status to Senior Producer
• Ensure that production processes meet quality standards through quality control workflows
• Continuously monitor and report on production progress
• Responsible for ensuring that project essentials are purchased in a timely manner
• Ensures projects are within budget
• Assign work to team members according to project needs
• Facilitate production meetings and decision-making within the production team and external departments to streamline production
• Create reports that measures deliverables as requested per upper management
• Coordinate team meetings for project development and execution
• Identify, evaluate and manage production dependencies
• Ensure all production documentation is complete and accurate
• Manage and maintain equipment and facilities
• Establish and monitor production standards and targets
• Handle production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio
• Edit videos with Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects when needed
• Assist in the shooting of content when needed
• Local, national and international is required
• Additional duties as assigned

Professional Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Skilled in non-linear editing and post-production
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects

Education and / or Experience Requirements

Associates degree (2 Year Degree); or 2 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
