At Hotel Royal Oak, we're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel! As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
Located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, our boutique hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, modern accommodations, and easy access to a variety of local attractions, dining options, and entertainment.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, ensuring each guest feels right at home during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests with a smile as they check in and check out
- Efficiently manage reservations, process payments, and respond to inquiries
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and recommendations
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues with a positive attitude
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for helping others
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a bonus!
