Holy City Heating & Air, LLC is growing and looking for a Lead Installer with a minimum of 5 years experience and a confident positive attitude!
Holy City Heating and Air has relocated to downtown Charleston. We are a full-service HVAC & Plumbing company specializing in residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and retrofit equipment replacement.

Lead Installers will know how to replace air handlers, condensers, package units, ductwork, etc. You must have all your own hand tools, micron gauge, and gauges.
The ideal candidate will have their own vacuum pump, nitrogen regulator, recovery machine, torches, etc. You will be working in hot environments and will be responsible for tearing out old AC equipment and setting up, installing, and starting new residential AC equipment up to 10 Tons.
You will also oversee an Installation apprentice and direct them on how to assist you.
Job Requirements :
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Possess hand tools required to perform the functions of the position
Minimum 5+ yrs experience in HVAC applications
Demonstrate ability to use current Android / Apple technology for communications and field reporting
Ability to maneuver in confined spaces i.e. crawlspaces, attics, etc.
Ability to climb and descend ladders
Complete work in a timely manner and a willingness to work until the job is done
Possess a well-organized, outgoing and positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and develop & build positive business relationships with clients
Job responsibilities :
Able to read blueprints, produce material and material take-offs
Install materials and equipment per plans and specifications
Interpret equipment submittals and manufacturer’s installation manuals
Ensure projects are installed properly and successfully pass all required inspections
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with and coordinate with other sub-contractors
Ensure company vehicles and tools are properly maintained
Provide management with estimated labor hours for specific projects
Identify change orders
Mentor and coach helpers
Posses strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
