5-month contract with possible extensions! Although this is remote, the candidate must sit in Ohio!

MUST HAVES :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years of managed healthcare experience is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is required
  • Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position

PLUSES :

  • Active, unrestricted State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN) license, Social Work license, or Counselor license is preferred
  • Healthcare or Management certification is preferred
  • Managed care experience is preferred
  • DAY TO DAY :

    The Manager oversees a team delivering care coordination for CareSource members, ensuring timely, appropriate care that improves clinical, financial, and quality-of-life outcomes. They will be doing member outreach related to incident management.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage clinical and nonclinical staff to meet service and productivity goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement the Care Model.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, training, and onboarding.
  • Monitor staffing levels, customer satisfaction, and productivity metrics.
  • Review quality audits and recommend program / staff improvements.
  • Maintain relationships with providers, customers, and agencies.
  • Leverage tools and platforms for operational efficiency.
  • Align departmental goals with strategic and compliance objectives.
  • Support new market development and departmental initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Licensure & Certifications

  • Preferred : Active LPN, RN, Social Work, or Counselor license.
  • Preferred : Healthcare or management certification.
  • Required : Annual influenza vaccination (with accommodations available).
