Your Role

As our Accountant Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include :

• Process and finalize the paperwork for Accounts Payable or Receivable at the end of each check run.
• Keep track of the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules for tax purposes.
• Participate in the processing of purchase orders.
• Collect detailed monthly reports from all departments and prepare the General Ledger, ensuring new purchases and disposals are recorded under the correct G / L code.
• Perform bank reconciliation by verifying that the amounts on the bank statement are consistent with those in the company's cash account in its general ledger, and vice versa.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from various departments.
• Manage the petty cash account.
• Carry out additional accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.
• Maintain 1099s.
• Assist in the closing of accounting books at the end of each month.

What We Are Seeking

We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualifications and skills :

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in Accounting.
• Superior interpersonal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Compliance with hiring eligibility requirements, such as a background investigation and drug screening.

Furthermore, bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, and a Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field will be advantageous.
