The Opportunity :
CACI is searching for an established Digital Solutions (DS) Business Development Executive (VP) with a demonstrated track record in identifying, qualifying, and winning Digital Solutions Market opportunities that require ERP, cloud, application development, data storage and analytics, and cyber security solutions within DoD, IC, Homeland Security and Federal Civilian customers.
Responsibilities :
The BD Executive (VP) will be responsible for implementing the actions and strategic imperatives for the defined market segment.
They will continuously participate in refining and updating the market strategy in coordination with the market line leader and associated team.
Responsibilities will include developing a multi-year pipeline that covers all government customer communities (DoD, Intel and Federal / Civilian) associated within the market definition as well as shaping and qualifying those specific opportunities through our defined milestone processes.
They will lead, mentor, grow and manage a business development team that possess the necessary customer and market skill sets.
Their teams will be required to understand the submarkets as well as CACI’s capability sets and past experience essential to delivering expertise and technology necessary to win and grow work within the defined market.
The BD DS Exec will also be required to collaborate with adjacent market BD leaders and line teams to assist where necessary to maximize CACI’s ability to present the best possible solutions and outcomes to our customers.
You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business worth between $1B and $2B annually. You will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Business Development to develop an overall Account Plan and Engagement Strategy to focus on positioning and capturing new business contracts.
The position can be performed remotely, but it will require in person collaboration with other senior leaders in our Reston, Virginia location and you can expect to spend approximately 20% of your time on business travel domestically and abroad when and if required.
- Build and Qualify a DoD, IC and Federal Civilian DS Business Pipeline. Your primary focus is to identify / maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with CACI’s strategic vision for growth.
- Create, manage, and implement go-to-market plans (to articulate and generate consensus for strategic vision, action plan, competitive intelligence, investments, business case, etc.
within the DS market.
- Engage customers in identifying and shaping opportunities. This includes active communication of filtered actionable intelligence back to Business Group, BD, and functional group staff.
- Actively market the Company Brand, establish customer expectations, and shape opportunities by creating white papers, sponsoring in-house demonstrations, and responding to RFIs and similar activities.
You will conceptualize the need, organize the correct company participants, and lead the collaboration to completion.
- Support Captures and Proposals to maintain continuity across the BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win as opportunities pass from qualification into capture and then proposal.
- Develop, maintain, and continually progress pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities through the milestone (gate review) process.
- Work with internal solutioning organizations to ensure we are solving new customers greatest challenges.
- Responsible for building and maintaining keeping it sold strategies.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture, proposal) activities for opportunities in Information Technology within Federal accounts
- Understanding of the technologies, competitive landscape, and vendors that are often selected to deliver these capabilities.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is :
$181,100 - $425,500
