Boiler Burner Field Service Technician
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Locally owned and operated boiler service / repair company is seeking a motivated, respectful, and reliable individual to fill immediate opening for a boiler and burner Service Technician.
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in boiler field service and maintenance but willing to train the right candidate who has 3-5 years of HVAC and electrical experience.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Job duties include but are not limited to :
- Maintenance and repair of equipment
- Troubleshooting and repair of boiler control systems
- Provide assistance and final inspection of work on boiler systems
- Perform startup services on boilers and burners
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Tuning and combustion analysis
- Boiler and water heater installation
Requirements :
- High school diploma / GED
- 3-5 years of commercial / industrial boiler / burner experience
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter attitude with ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically able to perform job duties
- Willingness to learn

Work Schedule
full-time (40 hours, 5 days / week) : Monday-Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m.; but candidate must be willing to work flexible hours when needed.

Salary : $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
