About The Position

ID : 51661114 Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Description : DON T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE.

Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility. RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post Required : CA License 2+ years of CVPICU / CTICU experience leading up to assignment PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained Heart transplant experience Willing to float between units BLS PALS Experience in : Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Flu shotTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED.

The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem / onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.

Shifts : (discussed in interview) 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available Weekend Requirements : 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

For night shift it is any combination of Fri / Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat / Sun. 13 week contractsRequested Time Off : 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) Must be available for all holidays, no holiday RTO allowed No RTO requests allowed during this timeframe : 12 / 22-12 / 28*Self scheduling! Summary : 30-37 beds.

Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD s and ECMO.

Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. SSNDOB - Please ensure your traveler s DOB is correct in our system, it is important for Rady to have the correct information as traveler s DOB is used for a first-time password for the Rady systems and can delay orientation if it is incorrect in our system6 days max RTO Traveler is required to work 2 out of 3 holidaysCan only submit to one job / unit at a timeCA license required in hand or ETA of when it ll post needed to submit.

If they don t have a CA license, please let AM know status of license application upon submission.Accepts locals, same rate, no mileage restrictionsCandidates will float within hospital and for NICU they float satellite locationsPerm staff need to wait a year to be eligible to travelModules completed before start are non-billable (can take traveler 6-8 hours to complete).

The hours spent on modules are not billable and do not count as orientation hours. All Orientation hours are billable.For NICU and HomeCare positions, travelers are reimbursed for mileage when driving to any other location, other than their home base facility they signed for at for NICU.

Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate.Reimbursement form must be sent in within 30 days of floating with unit manager approval.
