Summary :
Premier designer / manufacturer of customized industrial chilling systems for advanced technologies including electron optics, x-ray, MRI and medical device cooling seeks an experience Electrical Controls Engineer.
Responsibilities :
PLC Controllers (50%) :
- Develop and install machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages
- Document the programs, flowcharts, and processes required to transition products from the engineering phase to production
- Test products for efficiency, safety and reliability
- Troubleshoot system errors
- Oversee the successful installation of PLC programs
- Maintain and upgrade programs when necessary
- Monitor and qualify new features and opportunities
Production Support / Improvement (50%) :
- Develop and maintain tools to optimize deployments and support
- Provide engineering support to the manufacturing floor for testing and troubleshooting of new programs and systems
- Troubleshoot products during test when needed
- Investigate and implement automation opportunities for production and testing areas
Educational / Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
- Should have at least 3 years’ experience programming PLCs
