3L Logistics Inc. (a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground), is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager at our Humboldt, Tennessee location! This is an opportunity to join a growing team (190+ employees, across 4 states), and to put your leadership skills to use.

Responsibilities of Assistant Operations Manager :
Assist the Operations Manager in daily tasks such as
- Holding team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Delegating tasks and projects and providing follow-up action
- Ensuring business quality standards are met
- Developing and implementing best practices to maximize team efficiency
Manage an assigned team of drivers to deliver packages within the designated territory.
Assign pickups and ensure all pickups are completed on time.
Communicate and participate in meetings with drivers and management on the daily plan.
Manage driver productivity and route planning for a designated territory.
Qualifications of Assistant Operations Manager :
- Experience working as a manager or in a leadership role
- Previous experience within FedEx is preferred but not required
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must be mechanically inclined for basic truck needs.
- Able to deliver packages efficiently
Requirements
- Must be age 21+
- Safe driving record
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Med Card.
Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
