Job Summary
The Program Associate II will collaborate closely with Program Managers to coordinate and manage various programs within SLTech and Workforce Education.
The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting the execution of educational programs aimed at broad student audiences, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Duties will include scheduling courses, maintaining enrollment records, organizing meetings, responding to student inquiries, and serving as a liaison between students, instructors, and program managers.
Additionally, the Program Associate II will play a key role in marketing and outreach efforts, ensuring programs meet industry needs, and assisting in course development and updates.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
Two (2) to four (4) years of direct, paid, full-time work experience in project and / or program management.
Substitutions for education or experience are acceptable on a 2 : 1 basis.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of College technology systems, including Canvas, Zoom, and Banner.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.Experience working with adult learners or in workforce training programs.
Experience collaborating with community partners and stakeholders in curriculum development and internship opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to coordinate multiple programs and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in conflict resolution and decision-making.
Familiarity with project and program management principles.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Analytical skills to track and assess student data and program outcomes.
Knowledge of marketing and outreach strategies.
Ability to develop and monitor budgets.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
