Position Title : Procurement Clerk

Work Location : North Chicago, IL 60064

Assignment Duration : 12 months (possible extension)

Work Arrangement : Monday thru Friday onsite, ability to work remote one day a week after a 4-6 month training period.

Position Summary

Responsible for purchasing the services and supplies necessary for the organization's operations. This role involves applying procurement expertise to implement best practices and supply management strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance customer service and support business excellence across multiple categories.

Major Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and promote procurement tools and strategies.
• Support category management, support of supplier scorecards, and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in achieving annual targets and supporting category goals.
• Manage contracts, supplier selection, and process efficiency.
• Educate stakeholders on procurement solutions and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.
• Communicate and implement changes within the organization.
• Resolve issues related to procurement technology and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
