The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for managing all digital and print marketing materials, overseeing relationships with marketing agencies and partners, and occasionally updating website content and designing graphics for social media and email campaigns.
Additionally, the Marketing and Events Coordinator supports Advancement Officers by providing marketing resources to drive business growth and secure new donors.
The role also includes assisting Special Events Manager with coordinating special and community events, managing logistics, negotiations, scheduling, committee and sponsor relations, and procuring event-related items such as auction items.
This position reports to the Vice President of Advancement.

Skills / Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business preferred with a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or related field.
- Must be a strong writer and have experience with design elements including computer design programs, website maintenance and be able to design PowerPoint presentations.
Must know Microsoft Office software, Publisher, and Adobe applications as well as possess excellent written and communication skills.
Microsoft Certification preferred.
- Must be excellent at organizing and managing multiple priorities and / or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools.
- Must be able to create and execute a strategic marketing plan towards a targeted market; manage direct mail programs; and develop and maintain marketing strategies as well as reporting capabilities.
- Must possess effective communication skills and be able to communicate with different forms of businesses and groups both internally and externally.
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license, satisfactory driving record and proof of auto insurance.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
