Real EstateLandlord Tenant Attorney needed

Extremely fast paced Landlord / Tenant Law and Civil Litigation Firm on Upper East Side seeking an admitted attorney. Must be enthusiastic / high energy individual with professional communication skills and strong desire to be in court everyday to learn how to be a lawyer.

Responsibilities :

• Answer calendar calls, argue motions with the goal of handling trials and inquests;
• Draft pleadings, motions, opposition papers, memorandums of law and appeals;
• Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation / discovery with goal of handling trials;
• Heavy data entry, research and preparation of legal documents;
• Handle all phases of Landlord / Tenant and Civil / Supreme matters;
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have Microsoft Word and Outlook experience. No experience is necessary but the ability to learn and a positive attitude are a must.

Salary : $85,000 / year plus medical insurance.
