Responsibilities may include a portion of all of these areas :
- Client Intake Conduct client intake by gathering initial information and documentation.
- Provide professional, courteous communication to establish a positive client experience.
- Accurately enter client details into case management system.
- Real Estate File Processing Manage the entirety of purchase and listing files from initiation through closing.
- Review title binders and ensure requirements are satisfied prior to closing.
- Resolve basic title issues and coordinate with Supervising Attorney on more complex matters.
- Draft seller documents, including deeds.
- Coordinate receipt of documents, schedule closings, conduct closings as needed, notarize documents, and forward to settlement companies.
- Export files and prepare checks for post-closing.
- Legal Drafting Draft deeds, contracts, motions, petitions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
- Prepare discovery requests and responses.
- Draft simple agreements, letters, and legal forms for attorney review.
- Case & File Management Organize, maintain, and update client files in both paper and electronic systems.
- Perform legal research using online databases and firm resources.
- Summarize case law, statutes, and regulations for attorney review.
- Track deadlines, hearing dates, and filing requirements to ensure compliance with court rules.
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating logistics.
- Administrative & Billing Support Assist attorneys with billing, invoicing, and collections.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, file organization, and client correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Answer phones, respond to client inquiries, and direct communications appropriately.

Qualifications Preferred :
2+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm (real estate, litigation, or general practice environment).Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite; legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw a plus).Customer service or retail experience is favorable.Transaction coordination experience with a real estate agent is a plus.
