Fire Test Lab Technician

We are searching for that unique individual to join our team as the Fire Test Lab Technician. Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Full-Time Fire Test Lab Technician performs combustion performance testing on industrial and commercial burner products that are manufactured on site.

Responsibilities :

• Read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Assemble and mount burners to boilers for testing.
• Pipe oil lines, gas trains, feed water systems and steam headers to boilers.
• Perform mounting and reading of test instruments, recording readings and test data with knowledge of normal parameters. Maintain well organized written reports and project records in such a manner that the results can be analyzed and used by others.
• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly and functional work area at all times, ensure compliance with all safety rules and standards.
• Assist other Fire Test Lab Technicians in any lab, service and R&D functions as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
