Job Description

The Emergency Department is looking for a qualified Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. Our facility features a 14-bed ED, 6-bed observation unit, and a 5-bed VTA unit. Nurses will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency care in a high-paced environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize equipment such as monitors, pumps, EKG machines, and rapid infusers.
  • Perform typical procedures as required in an emergency department setting.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active nursing license in Virginia.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
