The Position : Applications for adjunct (part-time / substitute) positions are accepted on a continuous basis. It does not imply immediate openings.
If you meet the required minimum qualifications, your application will be included in the adjunct pool for possible assignments in the fall, spring, and / or summer semesters of the academic year.
Part-time / temporary faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals.
Major Responsibilities :
- Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
- Teach all scheduled classes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide quality instruction and create an environment that emphasizes teaching and learning.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.
- A Bachelor’s degree with a major related to Music; AND either :
- A) Thirty (30) hours or two (2) semester units of coursework in understanding the needs of older adults; OR
- B) One (1) year of professional experience working with older adults;
- An Associate degree with a major related to Music; AND two (2) years of occupational experience related to Music; AND sixty (60) hours or four (4) semester units of coursework in understanding the needs of older adults; OR
- The equivalent.

- Submit official college transcripts.
- Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam.
