IT Analyst.

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an IT Analyst to join our IT team.

About the role

The IT Analyst facilitates daily technical virtual & in-person user assistance, performing onboarding & off-boarding tasks, access provisioning & deprovisioning, actively contributing to documentation maintenance, & participating in regular IT team meetings.

The IT Analyst at Oscar serves as the essential first line of support, providing vital virtual & in-person technical assistance to employees & contractors.

The IT Analyst works with stakeholders across the organization, including developers, operations teams, executives, & end users.

You will report to the Manager, IT Services.

This is a hybrid position for our New York office. You will need to reside within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square).

Pay Transparency :

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is : $ to $ per hour.

You are also eligible for employee benefits & monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 10 days per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support on Mac & Chromebook systems.
• Staff in-person and / or virtual help desks.
• Participate in a team rotation of weekend check-ins, typically involving four hours of weekend work
• Provide support for international onboardingDevelop a deep understanding of Oscars internal IT functions to efficiently support end users & optimize SLAs.
• Adhere to established policies & procedures while assisting users, & proactively suggest improvements when necessary.
• Contribute to meticulous documentation maintenance, ensuring comprehensive & up-to-date records.
• Show initiative & drive in actions, projects, & interactions, introducing positive changes to IT workflows.
• Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting Mac & Chrome OS users in large environments, demonstrating patience in troubleshooting & educating users.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Updated on the latest tools for environment management.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, & oral communication skills.
• Familiarity in inventory control & laptop provisioning.
• Display a track record of meeting deadlines, exceeding expectations, & taking ownership.
• Familiarity with Okta, Google Workplace, MDM, & Service desk tools (Jira / Zendesk / ServiceNow).
• Hold an Apple Certified Support Professional designation & JAMF 100 Certification.
• Bachelor's Degree
