Senior Accountant – Real Estate
Location : New York City (100% Onsite)
Compensation : $75K–$85K + Professional Development Opportunities

Join a privately held, people-driven real estate firm that develops, owns, and manages a diverse portfolio of luxury residential, retail, and commercial properties including millions of square feet of Manhattan office and retail space. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Conduct variance analysis, reconcile accounts, and assist with year-end audits and closing
- Manage bank reconciliations and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
- Oversee treasury activity, including investment tracking and intercompany transactions
- Support property management accounting, including CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, AP / AR, and real estate tax schedules
- Partner with property and asset managers to deliver clear, timely financial insights
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and promote professional excellence
