Primary Responsibilities Include :
- Collaborate with ownership to develop and implement efficiency standards, therapist goals, and operational procedures to ensure acceptable financial performance
- Thoroughly understand Physical Therapy coding and billing processes and regularly audit visit notes to ensure adherence to industry best practices
- Coordinate with the front desk team to optimize workflow and actively manage the schedule throughout the day to ensure proper utilization of therapists
- Lead by example and ensure accountability to the clinic's mission, policies, standards, and goals
- Supervise staff which may include Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and / or Technicians with patient care and related activities, in accordance with skill level and deemed appropriate by the PA State Board of Physical Therapy and other governing entities such as Medicare
- Encourage and empower our patients to achieve their Love Your Life® goals!
- Prepare and administer skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders, referrals, prescriptions, and current standards of care
- Assess and interpret evaluations, records, and test results of patients
- Encourage continuation of therapeutic plan by designing a home exercise regimen, recommending assistive equipment, and follow-up programs that improve the patient’s overall health
- Ensure smooth and timely patient flow following scheduled appointment times and clinic goals
- Plan, organize, and oversee clinical activities of the practice including ensuring compliance with regulations of governmental and accrediting agencies, including Medicare and private insurers
- Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA compliance
- Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries.
Set an example for other therapists with strict adherence to the company’s notes policy
- Provide care that routinely garners 5-star reviews from patients. Contribute to the clinic process and best practices to ensure patients consistently feel motivated to write reviews
- Meet with providers at existing and prospective referral partner practices to evangelize the unique aspects and differentiators of FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers
- Lead educational workshops and presentations for community education
Requirements
Successful Candidates Must Have :
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) from an accredited school
- Current Pennsylvania physical therapy license in good standing and all other state-required documentation
- At least 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient settings preferred
- At least one year of experience running a clinic preferred
- Interest in providing both orthopedic and vestibular therapy (pelvic floor is a plus, but not required)
- Computer literacy and proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
- Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic preferred
- Basic business skills and a thorough understanding of the economics of running a physical therapy clinic
- BLS-CPR certification
- Must be eligible to work in the United States- we cannot accept international candidates at this time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people
