POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Director of Plan Operations. The Maintenance Technician of the facilities' responsibilities include physical building structures, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related preventive maintenance of facility.
They will ensure that the facility follows all required codes, facility licensing requirements, and overall standards required by regulatory government agencies.
Along with the Director of Plant Ops, they will manage facility safety, building and facility compliance for accreditation of behavioral health services provided.
Essential Duties :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall safety and efficiency of the facility
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- On call duty rotations & after-hours needs
- May be asked to extend hours for emergencies and time will be comped
- Adaptable to needs when and if they arise
- Willingness to learn and share and follow OSHA and best safety practices
- Performs duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or training preferred
- 3 years of proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Healthcare experience is a PLUS

Hiring Requirements :
Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
For the mental health program additional requirements include receiving AZDPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
