Job Description
The accountant will be responsible for the administration of the company’s accounting and financial practices. This will include accounting for all business transactions with journal entries, updating financial statements, preparing monthly financial reports, calculating payroll taxes, and auditing and maintaining accounts payable.
Essential Position Functions and Duties
- Manages and oversees bank's daily accounting activities, including recording financial transactions.
- Prepares end of the month journal entries.
- Creates, maintains and disburses weekly Sales Report for CEO.
- Creates reports for VP Operations.
- Responsible for invoicing including chargebacks to vendors, and miscellaneous invoices.
- Prepares credit and debit memos for vendors and customers.
- Supervises and supports (2) Account Receivable Coordinators for full account receivable cycle.
- Coordinates with logistics vendors for receiving Bill of Ladings.
- Assists the Accounting Manager for quarterly and weekly costing.
- Reconciles online invoices.
- Responsible for inventory adjustments on finished goods / raw materials and packaging.
- All other duties as assigned.
